The grand old lady Huggies was born in the wild in the Wrangen Island in 1993. Because we don’t know the exact date of her birth I thought we can celebrate her every day!
The photos were taken by Rebecca in July 2024.
Huggies will be 31 years this season ….
… but she looks very healthy and agile considering her age – and she sure looks glad and happy!
Huggies lives in the Ouwehands Zoo (Rhenen) together with her daughter Freedom and her granddaughter Sura. Even her grandson Yuka lives in this zoo but in a separate enclosure.
What a beautiful smile she has!
