Jens has visited the polar bear baby Anouk and her mum Victoria in Hagenbeck in Hamburg. The little one was born on 19.12.2022 and mother Victoria is taking exemplary care of her little treasure.
Father is polar bear Kap, who has already left Hagenbeck and now lives in the Karlsruhe Zoo. Mother Victoria is 21 years old and was born in the zoo in 2002. Until the birth of her daughter, she was the last polar bear born in Hamburg.
Anouk is a playful cubbie and she loves her ball.
The Ice Princess – or in this photo the Mermaid is a skilful swimmer and diver.
Swimming with mama is also great fun!
This sweet girl must be every visitor’s darling!
There’s also a sweet Kamtschatka bear couple in Hagenbeck.
