Today Knut would have been 19 years old but we have to celebrate his birth without him. However, he brought us together and he’s always with us in spirit!

I guess many of us remember the good times when Giovanna stayed with Knut in the Berlin Zoo. Here’s a selection of photos of them.
Even though Giovanna cleary was the boss in the enclosure she and Knut got along very well.
They were lucky to have snow during the Winter 2009.
Oh, what fun it was to play together on the white stuff!
There were many tender moments, too.
