Time to roll out the barrel. He’s SOO huge, SOO handsome and SOO fun to watch…..he is 🐻❄️ Siku. On my visit to Henry Vilas Zoo on the 5th of October I saw both Berit & Siku. First up is Siku. Have a happy day! ✌️❤️&🐻❄️
Shake it off, Siku….
Siku has been a resident of the Henry Vilas Zoo (Madison) for nearly a year now.
Handsome Siku was previously at the Lincoln Park Zoo (Chicago)
Is it time to….
… roll out the barrel, Siku?
Um, that might be more of a……
Pounce on the barrel….
Get it, Siku….
Definitely got it!
Nice side-eye, Siku….what’s next?
Time to revive his barrel…..
🐻❄️ compressions…..
Is your barrel revived?
For now…..it is 😍
Siku was born in the Toledo Zoo on Dec 3, 2009.
In 2011, he moved to the Louisville Zoo. Then in 2016, Siku moved to the Lincoln Park Zoo.
This beautiful, handsome & massive male polar bear now calls Henry Vilas Zoo home along with lady 🐻❄️ Berit & Nora.
See you next time, Siku 😍
Dear Michelle!
The polar bears love blue barrels. Siku Was very happy.

Its always a pleasure to watch playful polarbears! 🙂
Dear Michelle!
Siku is an imposing, tall and handsome male bear. He, too, can’t resist a blue barrel and plays as boisterously as a cub. I also hope that he’ll settle down now…
Thank you for your lively photos!
Hugs
