Flocke’s two sons have now been moved across to live in project polar 1 (kept separately from the others for a while) and Hamish in particular seemed intrigued. Here he is looking at either Indy or Yuma (sorry, don’t know which one it is!).
Tala is going to rejoin her mother Flocke. Maybe they already are together when I publish this article.
Flocke enjoying a walkabout in the main enclosure of project polar 2 yesterday afternoon.
This article was made before I heard the news but I hope you will enjoy it anyway!
I guess the visitors were taken by surprise when Indiana, Yoma and Tala presented themselves with shining white furs. 🙂
One of the brothers had found a blue barrel. It has seen better days but it’s still an useful toy.
Of course, this treasure was of great interest to the other of the brothers.
Tala was looking for play mates ….
…. and soon one of her brothers joined her.
However, Tala caught sight of a canue and left her brother wonder what she was up to.
Miss Tala is a very self confident young polar bear and always finds something to do by herself while the brothers prefer playing together.
The canues seem to be everybear’s favourite toy in this park. 🙂
Treasure hunting in the ‘polar bear lake’ is always a success!
The barrel serves even as a teddybear. 🙂

Hamish keeps himself cool in the pool. Wow, that rhymes!
After a refreshing bath it’s nice to take a walk in the green grass.
What is Nobby looking for?
He found Sisu – his best friend nowadays.
I hope there’s a sponsor donating some snow for the bears when it gets very hot. I’m sure Sisu and the others would appreciate it very much.
Hello birdie! How’s the water temperature today?
OK, I leave the birdie and keep on walking. Have you noticed what a nice path we have?
The smiling Sisu wishes all the readers of this magazine a wonderful Summer!
Dear Sheila and Philip! Thank you so much – once again! – for all these fantastic photos of our beloved white giants!
