I’m sure our little polar bear friend in Japan has stolen everybody’s heart. Who could possibly resist the charm and cuteness of Momota?

I checked the walls in our enclosure and found them quite solid and acceptable.
Some of the toys are very big for a little cubbie but Momota isn’t afraid of a real challenge.
Momo tried to make Momota jump into the water but this time the son decided to stay on land.
Who said ‘hands up’? 🙂
Restaurant Mama is Momota’s favourite hangout …
… and after a decent meal it’s time for some tender moments between the mother and her son.

Momoto and his mum are undoubtedly THE main attraction at their zoo. You can almost hear the delighted sighs of the enthralled visitors… The photos are so cute that I’m surprised there isn’t a ‘cuteness warning’. Thank you for these lovely snaps!

Hoffentlich passen die Zoos in Japan ihre Gehege auch so nach und nach dem weltweiten Standard an, denn die Betonwüsten sind mittlerweile ein absolutes no go.
