Every morning means a new exciting day for the polar bear girls Belka and Strelka in the Novosibirsk Zoo. As you know they live now in a new enclosure and they simply love it.
Sometimes there’s a ‘traffic jam’ ….
… but soon the girls show that no traffic lights are needed. 🙂
Let’s go and find out what our keepers have done during the early hours.
But first we can just chill in the grass!
Oh, it smells so good!
Come on, Sis! Look, we have a hammock ….
…. and we have a black tyre, too! It will be great to swing in it!
OK! You can have the tire now but soon it’s my turn!
I guess we all were worried and had our doubts of what would happen to Belka and Strelka when they were separated from Gerda. Now we can see that the zoo has done their best to create an attractive and cosy home for the twins.

We can look right – we can look left – and on both sides we have a nice enclosure.
