Gerti has visited the Aqua Zoo Friesland in the Netherlands and she had the great pleasure of meeting polar bear Felix there.
Felix was having a snack – it looks like it was of a feathered kind of snack.
It tastes better with my eyes closed …. 🙂
Oh bear, now my belly feels well filled!
After the refreshment, the enclosure was rearranged and a small fir tree was dug out to create a cosy place to sleep.
Because it’s difficult to get count of all the polar bears in the zoos here’s some information of Felix.
Felix was born 24.11.2001 in Vienna. His parents were Olga and Eric.
Our white giant friend has been on a travelling foot – excuse me, on the travelling paw a lot.

Even polar bear Rocky lives in this zoo but I can only show you a photo by an unknown photographer this time.
Rocky was born 11.12.2002 in Rhenen (Niederlande), His parents were Vera and Viktor
