Jens has visited all the zoos keeping polar bears in the free Europe and his latest visit was in the Sóstó Zoo in Hungary (Nyíreguháza Allatpark). Our white friends Fiete, Snezhana and Lloyd are now living in this park.
During his visit 19-21. May he could see Fiete happy again.
Fiete and Snezhana are living together and Lloyd is staying in a neighbouring enclosure.
It’s wonderful to see Fiete doing so fine again after his miserable stay in Budapest.
What a gorgeous and charming polar bear he is!
I had the pleasure of seeing Fiete in Rostock when he was a playful cubbie. It makes me happy to see he’s still the same playful boy!
Shared fun is double fun!
Both Fiete and Snezhana love to play in the water together.
Snezhana is a beautiful polar bear lady. Maybe the readers of this magazine don’t know so much about her so here’s something about her background.

La Donna é mobile – Snezhana in a dark dress. We all know that a dirty bear is a happy bear and Snezhana certainly looks very happy! 🙂

I guess everybody knows Fiete whose mother was Vilma and his father was Lars. That makes Fiete Knut’s half brother!
Even Fiete likes to be a chameleon and change his fur colour in seconds flat. 🙂
Lloyd is the proud father of Lale, Lili, Anna and Elsa – all born in the Rostock Zoo. Their mama is Valeska.
This gorgeous male bear was moved to Budapest where he wasn’t happy at all. Luckily he could come to the Sóstó Zoo.
He’s still quite thin but otherwise he seems to be in good shape.
Lloyd looks totally relaxed ….

I hope Fiete and Snezhana will be allowed to stay together. They seem to be a perfect couple!
