On my visit to Jimmy’s Farm on the 28th of April, there was no interaction between Ewa and the other bears.
Here Ewa is happily laid on a grass bank chomping occasionally on the luscious grass.
She certainly seems happy doing her own thing.
I was very worried when I heard about Orsa closing the park but now I can be happy seeing Ewa – and Hope – have found a very good home at Jimmy’s Farm.
She sure looks happy lying in the sunshine.
Ewa was in the small enclosure minding her own business when she spotted Tala & Flocke behind. She began to move away then Tala started to run after her, closely followed by mum Flocke. This continued through into the larger enclosure.
I did feel a sorry for her when Tala, followed by Flocke, chased after her. It looked like they were in training for the 400 metres at the Polar Bear Olympics!
Flocke was a bit slower than Tala and Ewa managed to keep the distance.
