Polar bear birthdays in December

I made a little list of polar bears’ birthdays in December. Of course, there are many more white fluffies celebrating their birth this month but I simply couldn’t count them all. I hope the dates are right!

I wish all the polar bears in the zoos and in the wild VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAYS!

Imaq – born on the 1st of December 2018 in Copenhagen where she still is staying with her mother Lynn.

Hertha – born on the 1st of December 2018 in the Tierpark Berlin where she’s still staying with her mother Tonja.

Aleut and Gregor were born on the 2nd of December 2010 in Nuremberg, now living in Warsaw.

Fiete – born on the 3rd of December 2014 in Rostock, now living in the Sóstó Zoo in Hungary

Miki was born on the 3rd of December 2020 in Orsa. Her parents Ewa and Wilbär.

Inuk and Imaq born 5.12.2019 in Aalborg

Inuvik born 6.12.2019 in Copenhagen

Anna and Elsa born 8.12.2019 in Zoo am Meer Bremerhaven

Venus – born on the 9th of December 2004 in Rostock, now living in Ranua

Valeska – born on the 9th of December 2004 in Rostock, now living in Bremerhaven

Nela and Nobby were born on 9th of december 2013 in Munich. Nela now lives in Emmen (Netherlands) and Nobby in Doncaster (England)

Borealis – even called Bo – was born on the 9th of December 2018 in the Toledo Zoo. Now he lives in the Henry Vilas Zoo.

Wilbär was born on the 10th of December 2007 in Stuttgart, now living in Orsa, Sweden

Flocke was born on the 11th of December 2007 in Nuremberg, now living in the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England.

Shauna and Nordi were born on the 11th of December in Novosibirsk where they’re still staying – as far as I know ….

Friida – born on the 16th of December 2002 in Tallinn where she still lives.

Flocke’s trio Indiana, Tala and Yuma were born on the 18th of December 2019 in the Marineland, Antibes.

Hamish was born on the 18th of December 2017 in Kingussie, Scotland. Now he lives in the Yorkshire Wildlife Park together with Luka, Nobby and Sisu.

Malik – born on the 19th of December in Aalborg where she’s still staying.

Anori – born on the 4th of January 2012 in Wuppertal – now living in the Zoo Mulhouse in France.
