One day in December Sisu and Luka were making plans for Christmas. Of course, they were hoping for a white Christmas but even without snow they were sure this special time of the year would be merry and bright.
Luka: Sisu, Christmas is a time for good things. I was thinking of Otis. He’s the only baby bear in Europe for the time being. Maybe we could surprise him with something nice ….
Sisu: Well thought, old chap! Because I still have good connections with Santa Claus I thought a trip to Rovaniemi could make Otis glad.
Little Otis was dreaming of his first real Christmas. Last year he was still in the den with mama Frimas.
Sisu really have good connection because one morning his reindeers arrived to Eindhoven to offer Otis a reindeer ride to Finland.
You can meet Santa Claus every day of the year at the Santa Claus Village. Meeting Santa is a unique experience, no matter what time of year you visit us. After the long ride the reindeers needed food. Otis was glad to assist Santa at the feeding.

The cheerful Postal Elves will post your greetings for you, whether it’s Christmas or the middle of summer! All post will be stamped with the special Arctic Circle postmark.
Mrs Santa Claus’ Christmas Cottage in Santa Claus Reindeer resort. Otis enjoyed the cosiness of the cottage while Mrs Santa was knitting and telling stories.
Even though Santa is already very old he wants to make his exercises every day. Wading in the snow is very efficient to keep him fit. Otis noticed the white snow made his fur look dirty so he decided to roll in the snow in order to get a white fur.
Ranua is only about 80 kilometers from Rovaniemi so Sisu decided to visit mama Venus and wish her a Merry Christmas.
The entry of the Ranua Wilflife Park looks very ‘Christmas like’ this time of the year.
Mama Venus was, naturally, delighted to meet her younger son again.
In the shop Otis saw some strange thingies …. he wondered if they were ‘other kind of polar bears’ because they had such nice white beards.
Before leaving Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village Sisu and Otis went into woods and decorated a nice Christmas tree.
