Sommer bei den Mädels / Summer with the girls

Mir ist es zum ersten Mal passiert, dass ich Nuna und Giovanna verwechselt habe.
Erst im zweiten Blick war mir dann klar, wer wer von den beiden Mädels ist.
Über La Bella Giovanna brauche ich nichts zu schreiben. Ich erinnere mich, wie das Fell von Nuna im Winter aussah. Sie hatte doch mit einer Allergie zu kämpfen. In der Zwischenzeit ist Nuna einer wunderschönen Bärin geworden.

It happened to me for the first time that I mixed up Nuna and Giovanna.
Only after a second glance did I realise which of the two girls was which.
I don’t need to write anything about La Bella Giovanna.
I remember what Nuna’s coat looked like in winter. She had to fight with an allergy after all. In the meantime, Nuna has become a beautiful bear.

Und nun zu Nanook. Sie war zu Beginn meines Besuches vollauf beschäftigt.
Die Anlagen waren getrennt und in der Tundra-Anlage wurde gerade der Wassergraben gereinigt. Nanook liegt hier am Gitter, welches die beiden Anlagenteile trennt. Sie lag da, schnüffelte und richtete sich immer wieder aus. Bär darf ja nichts verpassen.

Now for Nanook. She was busy at the beginning of my visit. The enclosures were separated and in the tundra enclosure the moat was being cleaned. Nanook is lying here at the fence that separates the two enclosures. She was lying there, sniffing and adjusting herself again and again. Bear mustn’t miss a thing.

Für mich/uns wurde das Gucken bald langweilig und sie ging ins Wasser. Das kühle Wasser ist sowieso der beste Platz bei warmen Wetter.Nun wissen alle, was man bzw. bär bei der Hitze machen kann. Ab ins kühle Nass und viel Spaß mit Nanook!!

I soon got bored of looking and she went into the water. The cool water is the best place to be in warm weather anyway. Now everyone knows what to do in the heat.
Off into the cool water and have fun with Nanook!!
