I would first like to THANK the zoo’s director 🇮🇹 Fasano for his valuable time and efforts in showing us around his zoo, informing us about his work and especially giving us valuable information about polar bear Marissa.
With his permission, I can inform you about polar bear Marissa and show you a couple of photos. Marissa is the mother of Giovanna and thus the grandmother of Nela, Nobby and Quintana. Unfortunately, she passed away recently – at the respectable age of almost 30 years.
