It’s time for Part 2 of 🐻❄️ Anoki at the Seneca Park Zoo (Rochester, NY). My visits to Rochester focus on family, but I always find time to visit beautiful Anoki. Have a happy day! ✌️❤️&🐻❄️
Who’s ready for Fri? Looks like that’s a paw of approval from Anoki😍
Anoki is a famous lady 🐻❄️.& her life story has come full circle back to her birthplace…Seneca Park Zoo (born Nov 20, 1996). In 1998 cub Anoki moved to Albuquerque Biopark in New Mexico. In 2008 Anoki moved to the Maryland Zoo (Baltimore, MD) where she would remain until 2018.
In 2003, Anoki was 1 of 4 polar bears to be featured in a Pepsi commercial for Sierra Mist for the Superbowl.
Anoki’s keepers were above and tossed a ball in her pool
Well….are you going in, Anoki?
She sure did and it was a perfect dive 😍
Back to focusing on her keepers….
Excuse me….I could use a snackie or two!
In 2018., Anoki moved back to Seneca Park Zoo after the passing of her mother Aurora.
In 2019, Anoki underwent her 3rd artificial insemination procedure (unsuccessful). Anoki continues to be an important ambassador for her species.
Anoki is very aware of her audience…..
Still awaiting a snackie?
It’s true, Anoki…..I absolutely adore you! 🥰
Always aware of the 📷…..
Of course, another Anoki tongue out….
What’s next, Anoki?
Oh no, she got out of the pool. Stay tuned for Part 3 of Anoki 😍
What a lovely lady and how much fun she has in the water! 🙂
Dear Michelle!
Anoki still looks very young for her age and looks fabulous! She’s very active, and I really love the photo series of her in the water and with the orange ball.
Thanks for sharing!
Hugs

Dear Michelle!
Anoki still likes to play. Thank you for the wonderful pictures.
