We’ve seen lots of photos of little Umka in Novosibirsk but we mustn’t forget his big sisters either. This time I have the pleasure of showing you photos of Belka and Strelka by Sergej. The keepers had treated the girls with blue watering cans.
Belka or Strelka (sorry, I can’t tell who’s who) decided to entertain the visitors – and herself – with a watering can show. 🙂

After the ‘show’ the girls had fun in the water together.
I’m holding my can very tight so you won’t throw it away!
Some Japanese visitors had brought Belka and Strelka pink toys which obviously were very much appreciated.
The toys are of some soft stuff so there’s no danger for the bears.

When I saw the watering cans, I had to think of Knut, who was a talented gardener and could certainly have put those watering cans to good use… 😉
It’s good to know that Belka and Strelka are doing well and staying busy.
