Time to check in with the 🐻❄️’s at the Henry Vilas Zoo (Madison). Flipping it back to my first visit in over a month. Wowza, things have changed and the biggest change is Miss Nora. Have a happy day! ✌️❤️&🐻❄️

Hello, Nora. She was hanging out at the viewing window, but also moving around going behind the scenes, then back out.
What’s going on with you, Nora? This special lady 🐻❄️ is going through some hormonal changes.
This time when Nora came back out from behind the scenes her eyes shifted and her focus changed.
The mark on her head was self inflicted by scratching. Nora’s fine, but look out for hormonal changes!!
Guess we now know who Nora was keeping eyes on…..Siku!
Nora has a lot to say and it’s mostly a huge NO to Siku.

Just a fyi….not sure what polar bears you’re going to see on a HVZ visit. Nora may be ready to den, but a reminder that there is NO pregnancy test for.

Berit is one of my favorite bears because I’ve lost my heart to the old bears. She looks great and seems to be in good spirits.
I hope the situation between hormone-plagued Nora and Siku eases up soon! The photo of them competing to see who has the biggest mouth made me grin from ear to ear. Nora may be much smaller than Siku, but she doesn’t let him push her around.
