It looks like the snow has come to stay in Novosibirsk which, of course, makes our polar bear friends Gerda, Kai, Belka and Strelka very happy.
The twin girls loved their enclosure even without snow but now the white stuff has made their home perfect.
You can taste the snow …
… you can walk on it ….
… you can lay on it ….
…. and you can wade in it!
Naturally, rolling in the soft snow is a great pleasure ….
… and shared pleasure is doubled pleasure!
How about a polar bear polka?

Mama Gerda is as happy about the snow as her kids.
Oh bear, I feel like a cubbie again!
The stairs are quite slippery so I must be careful.
Kai thought it was a perfect morning when he came out and saw the snow.
We polar bears don’t need any jewels. Some snow in my nose is much more elegant than boring diamond ear rings and things like that! I’m sure you agree!
They say the snow doesn’t smell of anything but it does!
Let it snow! We love it!
