When I was young, the train driver’s test – to do the job – was a question of fear. Today, it’s the 3-year company doctor’s test or the 2-year company medical fitness examination that keeps me awake at night.
BUT the left-hand traffic in England was my horror.
Today, I bravely faced my nightmare and took the step that only polar bears can – rightly – demand of me. I drove on the left – in a country teeming with wrong-way drivers
You can see my ‘wild ride’ in a video here
Even though I know nothing about driving in Britain, the polar bear god has his protective paws over me. Flocke is witness to the fact that the polar bear god protected me from the ghost drivers.
THIS IS A SIGN!

Hope
Noori cuddles with his mum Hope (left) and Nanook is very independent and sometimes stays far away.
Hope and Noori
Now Nanook comes for a cuddle.
Mum Hope growls at him. This isn’t a problem yet because the children and mum get on well. If Hope bites the children away, one possibility would be for her to move to Ewa’s zoo. Then the boys Noori & Nanook would be in perfect hands at the Peak Wildlife Park.
Peaceful family – Hope loves her babies
Family hugs
Bye bye Hope, Noori and Nanook!
And now – towards Doncaster!
Flocke thanks you for watching!
