On the 7th of November Jens visited the Tiergarten Schönbrunn and met the polar bears Ranzo and Nanuq – and, of course, even many other animals.
Because today is Ranzo’s daughter Finja’s birthday I found it suitable to publish these greetings from Vienna to celebrate her special day. Finja was born on the 9th of November 2019. In May 2023 she moved to the Tiergarten Nürnberg. Sadly her mother Nora suddenly died two years ago.

I’m sure Ranzo would be very proud of her beautiful daughter if he could see her now.
Ranzo 🐻❄️🇫🇮 was born on the 18th of November 2011 in Ranua, Finland. Her parets are mother Venus and father Manasse. Venus still lives in Ranua but Manasse died in August 2017.
In May 2014 he moved to Vienna.
Nanuq 🐻❄️🇦🇹 was born on the 30th of November 2007 in Vienna. His parents were Olinka and Eric.
Nanuq has made ‘completed round’:
17.05.2010 – 08.04.2019 Hannover
08.04.2019 – 03.05.2023 Nürnberg
03.05.2023 – Vienna
Herr Nanuq has an interesting fur colour. White is so ‘out’! 🙂
